Specifications

The DASDRA, as a unit, is comprised of three components; one DAC II Data Acquisition Computer and two ELTs. The three units combined to give a differential angle reading every five seconds with a resolution of one arc minute and accuracy of +/- 2 arc minutes over a range of 4 degrees. Other sensitivities and ranges can be supplied. By using two sensors, the computer is able to record the angles of two separate surfaces and also integrate the readings to determine their differential of relative angular positions from horizontal. The computer is programmed to recognize when the sensor is stable enough to give a reading within the accuracy and resolution range required. A hand switch is pressed after the sensor is put into position. The CRT screen and buzzer tone will indicate when the system has taken a reading and is now ready to be moved to its next point. A buzzer warning will sound if an out of tolerance situation of point to point measurement or overall measurement is sensed by the system. Software modifications can be made to fit your needs.
